Art Vs Science (Electrifying Aussie Electro!)

G'Day Boobies!

I've recently come back from Perth, Western Australia! And I managed to catch the One Movement Music Festival! Ah, and some very fine musical gems i found...

One of the big hitters for the One Movement Music Festival in Perth  , was Art Vs Science  . From New South Wales, Australia.

The band made out of 3 guys, fucking blew the audience and myself away during their high intensity, electrifying set. I'll upload the photos soon, just gotta get them outta the damn camera first... :P

Anyway, the boys of AVS  include:
Dan W - Drumset/Vocals
Dan Mac - Guitars/Keyboards/Vocals
Jim Finn - Keys/Vocals

Here's a taste of their music...

A track called 'Parlez-Vous Francais?'... The vid is the official music video for the track, and a job well done AVS! LOVE the Mime wars concept... lol

Here's a clip of them live... (this is them being REALLY mellow by the way...)

Here's one that does a bit more justice

Art Vs Science has an EP out at the moment. So if you like what you hear... GO GET IT!

However, i'd like to point out that the song that caught my attention for this band was a track called Higher. unfortunately its not on the EP nor can i find a decent Youtube video of it (FUCK!). So I am looking forward to an album from these guys! will drop you Boobies some updates if any word comes in.

Alright Boobies. that's all for now... there'll be more to come from the One Movement Music Festival. The next post should be one about a modern rock outfit from the beautiful Asian city of South Korea called Biuret... truly a band you wouldn't wanna miss!

  2. art vs science is just another group of hipters without any idea of true meaning of art, how sad, really. We need a iconoclast band now !
